2nd Floor
Description
The static 2nd floor come standard with a plywood floor and is designed with spanners across the side access doors to keep them fully operational. The length of the floor varies based on the trailer size, this ensures there is enough room in the remaining open storage areas for taller items. We have set the clearance height under our floors at 43 inches, accommodating all synth carts, keyboards, and other front ensemble equipment.
Cargo Trailers generally feature a floor length of 12', 14' or 16' depending on the trailer size
Semi-Trailers generally feature a 28' floor which leaves 13' of open storage space on the tail for a 53' trailer. Should your program have a 48' trailer we shorten the floor to approx. 26' which leaves 11' of open storage on the tail.

FAQ
Why do you set the floor height at 45" and how much room does that leave on the top floor?
A: It is the magic number that utilizes the carrying capacity in the most efficient way. It is essentially a 60/40 split leaving approx. 6' of space across the 2nd floor. This height also allows for most carts to fit underneath the floor.
Can I change the height of my floor?
A: Absolutely. However, when you change the floor height you reduce your loading capacity. If you raise the floor, it reduces the ability to walk comfortably across the 2nd floor.
Could I have carpet instead of the rubber floor option?
A: Absolutely. Carpet does have a lower price point and is a nice option to cover the plain wood flooring, however, we have found that carpet holds dirt and food crumbs from snack bags and becomes dirty more quickly and requires a vacuum for maintenance. The rubber flooring is easier to sweep, wipe up spills and holds up to wear and tear longer than carpet.
